At first, Luoto looks like a big and rigid box. It is simultaneously a seat and a container. Due to its versatility, it is a mobile table and can also turn into a multifunctional structure that can be used as a bookshelves set, a bed, a separating element or a private space. I t can be modulated and adjusted to all functional needs of the indoor and outdoor public and private spaces.The collaboration with ILVAILVAILVAILVA leads to use completely natural and environment-respecting coatings, wich allow wood to appear as “non coated”, guaranteeing at the same time absolute protection. I n opposition to a typical furniture piece positioned permanently in a specific place, Luoto enriches the surrounding atmosphere with great creativity due to its modular versatility. Further, such multiple life interpretations ensure that all users’ needs are met. It is a universal and versatile object, dynamic and suitable for any environment. It features areas in which things can be stored, surfaces where interactions with the environment can take place and private space where users can relax.
